Our Story

Born from a love of the long way home

Shady Acres started as a simple idea: what if there was a place along the Warroad routes where travelers could pull over, breathe, and actually stay a while? Not a stopover. Not a pit stop. A destination.

Today, that idea lives in every campsite we maintain, every pour we draft, and every trail map we hand to someone asking, "Where should I go?" We're not trying to be everything to everyone. We're trying to be the place people remember — the one that made the trip feel complete.
